With 18 days to go to London, China now knows who they’ll be playing once they get there.
Russia, who beat Nigeria on July 7th at the 2012 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Venezuela to secure a berth in the Olympics, has been placed as the final team in China’s Group B. Along with the Chinese, they join Spain, Australia, Great Britain and Brazil.
The other two Olympic qualifiers from the tournament, Lithuania and Nigeria, were both placed in Group A with the USA, Tunisia, France and Argentina.
China is currently playing in the annual Stankovic Cup in Guangzhou. They face off tomorrow night against Australia for the championship.
