With over 100 million users and counting, Sina Microblog, known in China as Sina Weibo (pronounced way-boh), has quickly established itself as the premier microblogging platform in the People’s Republic.  What is Weibo, and what is microblogging you ask? Think Chinese Twitter, only way better: Unlike their American counterparts , Weibo comes equipped with an automatic link shortener, super organized and easy to follow “blog-style” comments and replies, and the ability for users to attach pictures and videos directly to their posts.

Since a lot of the CBA is on Weibo, as well as an increasing number of China-minded NBA players and NBA Western media, NiuBBall looks for the best “Weibos” every week and posts them here every Tuesday for our users viewing pleasure. Because Twitter is so 2009 (oh yeah, and because it’s blocked in China).
